Maine Marriage Phone Bank
Vote for Equality, along with coalition partners, is helping to organize Maine Voter ID phone banks, to help the No on 1 campaign identify supporters and Get Out the Vote. Maine is facing a similar anti-gay initiative on the ballot Nov. 3, which could strip away the freedom to marry for LGBT couples. The phone banks are being held every Sunday, 10am-2pm at The Village in Hollywood. There will also be all-day Get Out the Vote phone banks on Nov. 2 and Nov. 3.
